In March Clark attended a dinner in New York City hosted by Gorbachev on behalf of Frank Foundation Child Assistance International. The dean and the singer discussed Third World debt relief, a cause Bono has embraced. No word on whether Clark, a composer and music enthusiast, jammed with the band.
