In April, Harvard Law School participated in festivities commemorating Earth Month at Harvard, an inaugural initiative featuring university-wide events and activities to raise awareness of environmental issues.  On April 22, HLS celebrated Earth Day on the Harkness Patio with live music and free food donated by local, sustainable vendors.

As part of its sustainability efforts, the law school has developed a number of initiatives and building improvement projects, including lighting updates in Langdell Library and the addition of heat recovery units in Hauser Hall.
