Early on April 13, a fleet of yellow school buses pulled up to the Law School, bringing 200 Boston high school students to a town meeting led by HLS Professors Lawrence Lessig and Bruce Hay ’88. Actor Andrew Shue also addressed the gathering. Throughout the day the students discussed and debated issues of justice and fairness, and the role they can play to improve schools and neighborhoods. Organized by Do Something, a national community-enrichment organization for young people, cofounded by Shue, the town meeting was the pilot for a planned national program. Many HLS students and other faculty also got involved in the event.
